Welcome
Jacob's Ladder is in its sixth year of meeting the needs of our senior families, and for the elderly, life brings many skills and much experience to Jacobs Ladder. At Jacob's Ladder, we are creating a positive and caring environment that will empower our seniors to use their abilities and talents creatively. They deserve our love and respect, along with our time and consideration. We work diligently to bring honor and security into their lives and believe this picture is worth a thousand words.
Here, at Jacob's Ladder, we provide a home-like environment in which we nurture the simplicities of life for the aged. We try not to focus on physical limitations or circumstances. We look into the community for those who provide physical therapy, emotional support, as well as, social needs. With integrity of care, we provide and encourage the quality of living that compassion so richly demands. There is the beauty of friendships, laughter, love and strength given through the residents and their caregivers. It is with a sense of comfort and a ray of sunshine we provide a place of refuge with love.
The name of Jacob's Ladder was envisioned by a mother over the loss of her son, Jacob. His life was taken from him at a young age. In memory of him, and to tell his story, she sought to bring to life a positive out of a personal tragedy. The Reality Check Program, run by Larry Lawton, has shared the final moments of his story, which is impacting troubled teens in the community and their parents. Our purpose is to bring meaning to lives through the touch and feel of many hands and people. We want them to sense they are valued. We celebrate each person, whether they are family members, the delivery boy, physical therapists, nurses, clergy, staff, or the people of the community. We serve to improve elderly development and growth, while perserving their dignity and honor that is so often found lacking in society today.
Jacob's Ladder Family Assisted Living is a private home owned and operated by a family with honor and a heart to serve. Small homes offer intimate relationships with the caregivers and a loving environment. We are very excited about the growth and expansion of our company. We are climbing Jacob's Ladder, and with every step, we are advancing toward new opprotunites and challenges with determination and stride to climb ever higher.
